Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (Full Review)

Wow is this actually going to be a regular thing?

Day Four of having COVID: I am realizing that I don't even have to properly quarantine because I stay inside my room for the same amount of time as I did before. At least me and botoxqueen1968 got COVID at the same time! (I can’t breathe through my nose)

Also, on my previous post: yes I did write that at like 11:54 pm after watching 27 Dresses. I don't know how that movie completely altered my worldview for a quick second, I didn't even really enjoy it that much. 3 Stars on Letterboxd.

Lately I've been getting those dumb videos where some random person will just 'pretend to be cringe' in PUBLIC as a way to be satirical. But at that point? Is it really being satirical if the people around you only see that one point of you acting like a literal child and disturbing their peace? I watched this video by Saji Sharma where he talks about the same point where “cringe culture” is supposed to be about mocking a certain trend but it could sometimes be an unintentional mockery of disabled, specifically autistic, people. I stole most of his arguments so if you're interested: https://youtu.be/aATGj7ZLpV4

Also: to the people who actually make those videos. I understand that people who may be cringey by accident might end up being fine or something since they already act like that, but to the people actually making those videos? How do you go out in public.

If I see one more tik tok of someone doing ‘satire’ talking about something like Wednesday or Eddie Munson then I’m actually going to jump off of a cliff. At that point it’s not funny, you’re just ruining the media that people want to enjoy.

Not only that but with the rise of cringe culture coming back again it can’t help but make me think back to that certain group of viners that lived in one apartment block in LA and would only make videos there? Like the whole Le Le Pons and Logan Paul group. I don’t know what the deal was but I think our low point was definitely during that era with like the mid 2010s because those videos were not funny at all?? But I can't deny that the 2017 YouTube Rewind was the best YouTube Rewind.

Anyways, who let the Sims add fears? Fears are like the worst thing to add and there isn't even a good amount of variety, like my sim has gotten fear of the unknown like in ten different games (granted, I too am very terrified of the unknown so I guess we're twins!!). I feel like it would make more sense if a sim had to undergo an experience such as being in a fire in order to eventually be scared of a fire. Not only that but you could also utilize the relationships between the sims in order to create a fear, such as having a sim only have bad relationships: abandonment issues!

Guys I’m starting to feel the pressure of running a 20 views a post (around 5 of those views are mine) blog, like it’s really nerve wracking being this known around town and underground! Every time I think that I can emulate the energy or style of a past post I end up wanting to delete this blog. I cut out half of this blog post because of that thought.
